Transportation /Freight Factoring

Transportation or Freight Factoring is for transportation companies that need working capital to pay drivers, buy fuel, and maintain their vehicles. Owners and operators, as well as medium and large fleets, can use transportation factoring to finance long haul, LTL and last mile loads. Although freight factoring is widely used in the market, there are some nuances such as online debtor verification, the ability to upload schedules to mobile phones, fuel cards with discounts and other benefits that make proper factoring a success.

Medical Factoring

Medical factoring is for health care providers, including physician groups, skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, dialysis centers, and other health care providers who collect payments from Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party insurers . Healthcare facilities and providers use this type of accounts receivable factoring to cover payroll.

Medical factoring is performed almost exclusively by companies that specialize in this type of factoring and works well with other types of investment financing, including SBA 7a and 504.

Purchase Order Finance

Order financing is a financing option for businesses that lack the funds to fulfill customer orders. Cash flow problems exist for many businesses, making it difficult to cover their ordering costs. Instead of refusing to do business, order financing gives your business the flexibility to finance a project with little or no upfront capital.

For an example – a buyer will show up and place an order to buy goods. There will be a corresponding purchase order from the supplier which will be paid for by the funder. This can be done in many ways, such as making a deposit and then paying in full, cash against documents or cash against letters of credit. Goods are generally sent directly to the end customer. When the product reaches the customer; an invoice is then issued. A sponsor will typically fund a percentage of this bill that is billed to the end customer and uses the money to repay the trade finance flow; usually the cost is higher than the financial line of the invoice.

Inventory Finance

Inventory financing is an asset-based loan based on the value of some or all of the inventory. Lenders offer a loan as a percentage of the value of your inventory, and the inventory itself acts as a collateral for the loan.

Some business owners use inventory financing to purchase new inventory, but it can also be used for many other types of business expenses. Inventory financing can help solve two main problems.

1) Short-term cash gap for businesses with most capital tied up in inventory
2) Stock up on inventory for the busy season

Inventory lending is often used by businesses that continually have very large inventories, such as retailers, restaurants, and wholesalers.
