Invoice factoring or account receivable factoring is a credit facility commonly used by importer/exporters, resellers, temporary staffing companies (payroll funding), manufacturers and trucking companies. Purchase order funding is often used in conjunction with account receivable funding to complete a resale transaction when a product is outsourced and delivered to the end buyer. AR funding completes the transaction when a business needs to offer payment terms to their clients to stay competitive.
